Summerfields Rose Retreat

The river lodge consists of 12 exclusive tented suites under a canopy of Jackalberry and Tambotie trees, surrounded by the music of nature – the sounds of cascading water, amplified by a choir of bird calls and the occasional snort of a hippo. Each luxurious suite ensures total privacy whilst relaxing on the deck with views of the Sabie River, which runs to the Mozambique coastline.

Attention to detail is evident in every rose-variety suite, ensuring a memorable experience, with specially designed furniture, percale linen and the tantalizing fragrance of fresh cut roses from the farm. All units are air-conditioned with additional roof fans, have double vanities, an outdoor shower and a luxury bath, and are stocked with quality toiletries, and a private fridge for the comfort of guests.

1. Romantic Bath Ritual R200

Rekindle your love in our rose milk bath for two, surrounded by candles and nature. Champagne and indulgent Belgian chocolates feed the soul and ignite the passion. Conclude your relaxing experience with a sensual, after-bathing massage oil to pamper one another.

2. Invigorating Bath Ritual R200

A citrus blend of zesty grapefruit and orange oils uplift and increase circulation. This bath is a guaranteed pick-me-up for fatigued and exhausted travelers. A healthy citrus and mint smoothie and a fruit platter complete this bath experience.

3. Sleep Easy Bath Ritual R200

Perfect before bed-time, a blend of essential oils calm the nervous system and relax body and mind. A Thalgo infusion tea served with home baked, good mood cookies is the perfect complement to induce peace, tranquility and a good night’s sleep.
